Tony Wilson began singing at an early age in Eastern
Tennessee. Growing up in a musical family, Tony has many
fond memories of harmonizing with his father and five
siblings. His current vocal style can be attributed to
his gospel roots - Tony recorded a solo on a church
album at age 16. Upon moving to San Antonio, Texas, with
the Air Force, Tony became a member of a local singing
duo to further focus on his musical talents. He has
performed at various sports and community events,
including the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, Poteet
Strawberry Festival and the San Antonio Racquets
Professional Tennis Team tournament. Tony has also
entertained audiences at San Antonio Riverwalk
restaurants, nightclubs, weddings, and private events.
Inspired by George Strait, Alan Jackson and Randy
Travis, Tony “loves country music because of the real
life messages that are conveyed through the lyrics.”
Tony was the 2007 State Winner of the "Colgate Country
Showdown" nationwide country music talent search, and
the 2007 National Finalist in the Kix Brooks "American
Country Countdown Superstar Contest."
